There is a lot to love about Starkey’s newest hearing aid, the Livio Edge AI. Learn about the most impressive features by reading below!

Built in responsive AI

Why does artificial intelligence (AI) matter in a hearing aid? There are many reasons. With the Livio Edge the AI technology is created to learn about you, and adapt to you, becoming more and more intuitive to your hearing preferences and needs. With its AI technology, these hearing aids begin to “learn” about the places you like to go, and the sounds you like to listen to.

The devices will automatically adjust to the perfect preferences as you move throughout your day. The AI will recognize when you walk into your yoga studio and will automatically adjust to the correct settings there. When you leave and drive to your daughter’s house, the AI technology will adjust the settings on your hearing aids there too. The more you wear your hearing aids, the more they learn about you, and the better they become at adapting to you – effortlessly, automatically, and instantaneously.

 Remarkable sound with Edge Mode

Using their patented technology combined with AI, the Starkey Livio Edge AI hearing aids deliver a game-changing hearing experience, even in the busiest of environments. The Edge hearing aids are able to recognize and amplify the sounds that you want to hear, such as speech, while suppressing the sounds you don’t need, like annoying background noise. Wearers can even further boost speech sounds to make listening easier, especially when one’s communication partner is wearing a face mask!

The Livio Edge AI is also highly connectable, streaming seamlessly with your smartphone and utilizing Bluetooth technology.

Thrive hearing control app

The Livio AI also comes with a hearing app that puts you in complete control of your hearing aids. Of course, you can adjust the settings on your aids from the app, but Thrive goes much further than that. These hearing aids are able to track your body and brain activity, to help keep you on top of your cognitive and fitness goals. Using your hearing aids, the app is also equipped with fall detection and alerts.

If something happens to you and you need help, the Thrive app will automatically contact the people important to you. The Thrive app is also able to translate conversation from various languages, in real time, directly to your hearing aids. It doesn’t stop there. The app is also able to transcribe upon command, alert you of reminders you have set, and connect to the Thrive Assistant.

Best of all, with the Thrive app wearers can connect to and get help from your hearing professional – wherever on the planet you are. Your hearing care professional can even make adjustments to your hearing aids remotely, reducing the number of physical appointments you would need to schedule in their office.

For those who also experience vision loss, the Livio Edge connects seamlessly to OrCam and MyEye.

 Rechargeable

On top of housing all of this awesome technology, the Live Edge AI hearing aids are also fully rechargeable, being the world’s first custom rechargeable hearing aid. Rechargeable hearing aids are good for your peace of mind, good for your wallet, and good for the environment.

Available in multiple styles

The Livio Edge AI technology packs a powerful punch, however, Starkey was able to fit all of this amazing technology into very small, sleek and discreet designs. The Livio Edge is available in Behind-The-Ear (BTE), Receiver-In-Canal (RIC), In-The-Ear (ITE), and In-The-Canal (ITC). All four of these models have a rechargeable option.

Is the Starkey Livio Edge AI right for me?

You may be wondering if the Livio Edge is the right hearing aid for your unique hearing profile, your preferences, and your lifestyle. You can guess, but the only way to know for sure is to meet with us at Hearing Wellness Solutions for a comprehensive hearing exam.

After your hearing assessment, we will be able to discuss your results together. If you are curious about the Livio Edge AI and live in the Springfield area, we would love an opportunity to work with you, and to help you decide if these hearing aids are the perfect choice for you.
